Updates:
On the homepage it mentions Centaur and Faerie herds/mushrooms! Centaurs can either join an exhisting herd or claim a territory for their own and start letting people join their herd.

We got a new way for joining! It's now an entire form, to make things a whole lot easier and more organized! I will reply to you in an e-mail and on the Main Street message boards, so check BOTH before posting at all! Thankyou!

Tales of Atlantis
It's called Tales of Atlantis, as it is set in the lost city of Atlantis, before it sank beneath the ocean's depths. You may be a different race, and have an occupation. You may be adopted, or given supernatural powers. You may even be accepted as an immortal, to sit alongside with the Goddess, Silverpaw! This is the place where you can remodle your life into anything you want it to be. Here is the place you can accomplish your goals. Here is the place that you may call home. Journey into the forgotten city of Atlantis, long before it was forgotten, and when it was still a city of gold and wonder. You can shape it's history, and your own. Embark on whichever path you choose, just as long as you choose it wisely. Welcome to Atlantis!

How do I Register? How much does it cost?
You may now register! The price is *FREE*!! Here is some information on it:

Races that you may be:
Avian: Bird like humonoids, with the racial ability to fly. They have beak-like noses, and wings growing from their shoulderblades. Some mutations have wings instead of arms. Most have tailfeathers. Hair is usually worn in a ponytail or flowing. Any job involving hights is easy for avians. Not dexterous, but very fast. Message and mail delivering is a comman job for them.

Elf: frailer than humans, but with better senses and charisma. They have pointy ears (for great hearing) and large eyes (for wonderful vision), and their hair is worn long. Dexterous, so crafting is common for them, especially with their keen eyesite.

Drow: Evil version of an elf, with racial ability to see in the dark. Scorched in the sunlight, and often drink blood in cerimonies with many sacrifices to the unknown god or goddess of darkness, who is yet to be unmasked! Blacksmithing is a common job for drows, since they're dexterous and wonderful around fire.

Centaur: Human, with the lower half as a horse. Hair is always long and flowing. Great archers, and wonderful with other equines. Unusually long noses. Stay within their own herds, each herd with a leader. Anything involving horses is great for a centaur, like training horses to be domesticated. Also fast and can run great differences, so mail delivery is common.

Merfolk: Humans with the tails of fish or dolphins. They have gils and lungs, but are uncomfortable on land. They can move about on land for short periods of time, but dry up if not in water for long. Females are called Mermaids, and males Mermen. There is usually a Queen and King to each group of Merfolk. Hair is always worn flowing, they're usually without clothing, and their scales can be any color of the rainbow. Sometimes their scales cover their body, but sometimes they only cover the lower portion of their body, or sometimes anywhere in between. Jewelry making is a skill that most Merfolk have. They would make good blacksmiths, except the heat would dry out their skin too quickly. Anything involving fire or that has to be on land for long periods of time is out. Any job that involves water would love for Merfolk to be involved!

Sprite: Kind of like elves, except complete pranksters. They love tricking people, but don't really like hurting anyone. There have been evil sprites on occaision, but most are just innocent children at heart for life! Hair can be in any style and of any color, usually matching their skin, which is of any pale color. Their eyes are large and sparkling, which also matches their hair and skin. Clothes are usually made out of leaves, or they don't have any. They like being color-coordinated, but their clothing would match the forrest, even if their hair is bright pink. Most likely to find a job in animal care or training, like training horses. Also very dexterous, so crafting is easy for them.

Faerie: Small humonoids with insect wings. Commonly, thier wings resemble that of dragonfly's, butterfly's, beetle's, or ladybug's. They're very dexterous, but incredibally frail due to their size. Even though they're quick, their size prevents them from going long distances, so message-delivering for an occupation is out of the question. Usually wear their hair long and flowing, which could be of any color. Clothing is skimpy, at best, and is usually made out of spider silk or thin leaves. Sometimes no clothing. Very playful and smart. Sometimes live under mushrooms or in flowers, near other faeries, but seperated dwellings.

Giant: Humans, except HUGE! They're size does have a consequence, which is intelligence. You're more likely to meet a flying pig than a smart giant. Wonderful fighters, and any occupation with heavy labor would love to have a giant on their side, so finding work is relatively easy.

Human: If you can't decide what race to choose, pick human. They're average at everything, but exceed at nothing. Can find a job in most things, but wouldn't be a top employee.

Occupation:
People are planned to run the jobs and shops in Atlantis. The section on races explains what each race is good at. For example, a giant wouldn't get a job making jewelry, and a faerie wouldn't get the job of delivering packages! Ask an immortal for a job by making a message with the subject **OCCUPATION** with the job you want and your race. You may also wish to create a shop, and run your own business. This will be more difficult to do, but the rewards may be great to be your own boss! Also, *ALL* players begin with no occupation and basically penniless. You must be highered by a shopkeeper or an immortal.

Powers:
If you do a good deed or are on a lot, you may be rewarded with a special power. Some examples of these are: Flying, lazer-vision, changing the weather, etc. You may also wish to raise certain stats, like dexterity. If you want a raise in a job, you may want to raise the prime stat used for that job. Use your imagination for a power! To request a power (*not* a good idea), post a message with the subject **PRAY** with your race, occupation (if you have one), the power you wish for, and why you think you deserve it. Warning: You will most likely be noticed by an immortal or another player if you deserve a power. You probably won't need to request for one, if you truely deserve it! Also, another player may pray if they see someone doing a good deed or if they think they deserve a power. You have more chance of getting a power if another person prays for you. But please, no bribing or blackmailing for someone to pray for you! And absolutely no organizing good deeds to get powers!!!!! Also, currently, invisibility is not available as a power.

Anything Else?
This SIM just got started on 11/3/00, so it's still pretty new! Well, very new! Please apply! I also will be recording people with powers, etc. You will be caught and prosicuted if you cheat in any way! And shopkeepers will be recording what and who they sold stuff to. No cheating, whatsoever! This is a free game, so please respect it. Since this is generously provided and kept up for your enjoyment, please follow the rules at all times, to keep it up! I'm sure there are tons of dirty SIMs and games to play if you have a dirty mind and enjoy that kind of stuff, so no need to be vulgar here. Thankyou!
